RUBYNANOMED’S WEBSITE PRIVACY NOTICE
RUBYNANOMED (hereinafter the “RUBYNANOMED”, “our”, “us”) has procedures based on a personal data protection policy that are established in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 27 April 2016, on the protection of individuals regarding the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter the "Regulation").
This Privacy Notice (referred to as the “Notice”) outlines how the Company processes any personal data related to you as a visitor of the Website. Your personal data may be collected from your use of the website or provided directly to us by you. As the Controller, RUBYNANOMED’S process your personal data.
By using the Website or requesting further information about RUBYchip™(referred to as the “Product”), you acknowledge that you are aware of this Notice. Please note that this Privacy Notice may be updated periodically. Any significant changes to this Notice will be clearly indicated on the “Last Updated” section.

All the definitions set in the Regulation are applicable to this Privacy Notice, from which we highlight the following:

10. HOW TO EXERCISE YOUR RIGHTS

- We will respond to your request without undue delay and in any event within 1 (one) month of receipt of the request. This period may be extended by 2 (two) further months where necessary, taking into account the complexity and number of requests. We will inform you of any such extension within 1 (one) month of receipt of the request, together with reasons for delay.
- You can also file a complaint with the National Competent Authority which, in the case, is the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados whose contact details can be found at: www.cnpd.pt.
11. TRANSFERS TO THIRD COUNTRIES
- If you provide us with personal data using our Website, it may be transferred or stored in a country that has different privacy obligations than those of your country of origin. This means you’re your personal data may be transferred to a country with less restrictive data protection laws than your own.
- We have established contracts with our service providers that contain European Commission’s Standard Contract Clauses (“SCCs”) to ensure compliance with the Regulation, for transfers of personal data to a third country outside the European Union, European Economic Area, or when there is no adequacy decision in place that imposes the same level of safeguards to your data. The SCCs provide appropriate and adequate safeguards to protect your personal data.
