RUBYNANOMED’S WEBSITE PRIVACY NOTICE

RUBYNANOMED (hereinafter the “RUBYNANOMED”, “our”, “us”) has procedures based on a personal data protection policy that are established in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 27 April 2016, on the protection of individuals regarding the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter the "Regulation").

This Privacy Notice (referred to as the “Notice”) outlines how the Company processes any personal data related to you as a visitor of the Website. Your personal data may be collected from your use of the website or provided directly to us by you. As the Controller, RUBYNANOMED’S process your personal data.

By using the Website or requesting further information about RUBYchip™(referred to as the “Product”), you acknowledge that you are aware of this Notice. Please note that this Privacy Notice may be updated periodically. Any significant changes to this Notice will be clearly indicated on the “Last Updated” section.

1. DEFINITIONS:

All the definitions set in the Regulation are applicable to this Privacy Notice, from which we highlight the following:

“Personal Data” means any information related to an identified or identifiable natural person, an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directed or indirectly, by reference to an identifier such as a name, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors;
“Processing” means any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, whether by automated means, such as collection, recording, storage, adaptation, or alteration;
“Controller” means the natural or legal person, alone or jointly with others, that determines the purposes and means of the processing of Personal Data;
“Processor” means a natural or legal person which processes Personal Data on behalf of the Controller;
“Data Subject” means the natural person to whom the Personal Data related;

We collect information from you when you use our Website, such as when you contact us to learn more about our product through our contact form or to work with us.

4. WHAT TYPE OF INFORMATION IS COLLECTED FROM YOU?

When you visit our Website, we collect your IP address, which is a unique set of numbers recorded by our web server when request any web page or component of our Website.
We also collect other electronic identification data, hardware and software information, browser information, device information, operating system information, and platform information (if applicable).

If you believe that we have not complied with the provisions established in this Notice or in the Regulation, or if you intend to exercise your rights, please contact us at: innovation@rubynanomed.com.
We will respond to your request without undue delay and in any event within 1 (one) month of receipt of the request. This period may be extended by 2 (two) further months where necessary, taking into account the complexity and number of requests. We will inform you of any such extension within 1 (one) month of receipt of the request, together with reasons for delay.
You can also file a complaint with the National Competent Authority which, in the case, is the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados whose contact details can be found at: www.cnpd.pt.

11. TRANSFERS TO THIRD COUNTRIES

If you provide us with personal data using our Website, it may be transferred or stored in a country that has different privacy obligations than those of your country of origin. This means you’re your personal data may be transferred to a country with less restrictive data protection laws than your own.
We have established contracts with our service providers that contain European Commission’s Standard Contract Clauses (“SCCs”) to ensure compliance with the Regulation, for transfers of personal data to a third country outside the European Union, European Economic Area, or when there is no adequacy decision in place that imposes the same level of safeguards to your data. The SCCs provide appropriate and adequate safeguards to protect your personal data.

We reserve the right to amend, update, revoke, or replace this Privacy Notice at any moment.
We will notify you of any material changes to this Notice by posting the updated Notice on this Web page or by email if we have your contact details.
